Sony’s PlayStation 4 (PS4) Finally Gets First Big Price Drop, More To Come!

If you haven’t already heard, Sony officially released a statement saying that today, October 9th, PlayStation 4, the highly desired upgrade to the PlayStation 3, has gotten its first official price drop. Previously at $400 ($399.99), the PS4 is now $50 cheaper at only $350 ($349.99)!

For our northern friends in Canada, they will also receive a smaller price drop of $20, from $449.99 CAD to $429.99 CAD. Of course, this is the base MSRP price, and sales may bring it even cheaper.

Still, even with this long awaited price drop, it is only going to get better from here! Black Friday is just a few weeks away, and with last year’s best deal at $329 for a PS4 bundle, you know it’s going to be even better this year! Then there is Cyber Monday and Christmas sales!
