Terms and Conditions

ACCEPTANCE

By usage of this website you accept the terms and conditions.

CONTENT

All content on this website is considered property of TechReader with the exception of content owned or licensed by third parties such as images, links to other websites, etc.

This includes text, images, files, comments, graphics, audio, video, information, data, site code, or other such content.

The content on this website may not be used for any commercial use. The content on this site may not be reblogged, copied, or shared for commercial use without express permission via written consent.

We commit to leaving the comments open for all posts indefinitely with no intention to close them, so as to promote freedom of speech on the internet.

MEMBER CONDUCT

The internet is a free place and we don’t restrict the ability for people to post freely what they like. If this ever becomes a legal issue, then TechReader will relocate to a country where it is not a legal issue. We believe that the freedom of speech is an inalienable right available to all humans.

That said, to non-humans such as bots, or to trolls, paid or unpaid shills, other disinformation agents, spammers, or other nefarious parties, we will not approve comments or content which are intended for the express purpose of manipulating public opinion, using deceptive tactics to trick people into believing things that are false, or advertising (with the exception of paid ads, sponsored posts, or a link to an individual’s website on a real comment).

EMAIL

You agree that if you leave a comment to be created an account upon approval of your comment, and this will send you an email asking to create a password for your account. This account will not be activated until you create a password. If you request it, we’ll delete any account at any time at the request of the person who wants their email removed from our system.

ACCESS RESTRICTION

We hold the right to restrict access to any party, although for regular humans reading or commenting normally that should never happen. If we receive extensive spam or angry comments attacking TechReader for any reason, we hold the right to ban the IP of the offending party to maintain the integrity of this website.

ACCESSIBILITY

We’ll work hard to try to make our content available for as many people as possible including those with disabilities. We increased the size of the font on our site to make it easier to read, and made it mobile-friendly so it can be accessed from all devices. We don’t feel any obligation to make this content available in braille or other extensive measures, instead we’d prefer to spend our time delivering more quality content to our members and visitors.

We’ll still try our best to make our site as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, but you agree that if you can’t access anything on this site for whatever reason, this website is on an “as is” and “as available” basis and we are not obligated to cater to any individual. This website is presented as “take it or leave it”, if you can’t use it, we apologize but we tried.

To make the site more accessible, we even made some cool innovative things such as ability to hide the sticky top menu on both desktop and mobile sites (on desktop view, it’s the up arrow on the top right side; on the mobile site it’s the full screen icon on the bottom left in posts).

On the mobile site we created a cool feature with bottom buttons that show up on posts (only when you scroll up and hides again when you scroll down), and a “full screen feature” that no other site on the internet has made which hides everything for a full-screen experience on mobile devices. In addition, we’re working on a sitewide toggleable dark theme!

We aren’t required to do any of this, this is presented for information purposes only.
